    Morpeth/Rutherford/Branxton, NSW
    24 November 2001

This storm system hit Branxton - Greta area at around 3:55pm (EDST). Even though there was not much wind that accompanied this storm, heavy showers and hail fell around the effected areas. Near Elderslie, which was the worst hit area, hailstones had a diameter of approximately 3cm. In Greta and Branxton, the hail was 1cm in diameter. The storm moved away from Branxton and headed to the east northeast and hit just south of Gresford before it dissipated. Lowerings were observed at the inflow region (flanking line) of the storm, but no rotation was noticed.
