Light snowfalls fell for the first time this season during the last couple of days on the higher peaks of the Upper Hunter and Barrington Tops. Though the falls were light, snow flurries were occurring at around an elevation of 700m. There was only a light cover of snow on the Barrington Tops by this morning. The snow began to fall as intermittent showers last Thursday night (5/7) on the Barrington Tops and continued until last night.
