    A significant cold outbreak occurred in south eastern Australia between the 27th to the 30th of May 2000 and as a result produced low level snowfalls in much of Victoria. The photos below were taken on the 27th at Mt Donna Buang in Victoria. The snow on this day was settled down to 800m and was approximately 10cm deep on the summit. By the 28th, snow was falling down to 400m and settling at about 500m. Sleet was falling in between periods of rain in Warburton. All access to the summit was cut on the 28th.
